๐ง Calm-Focus Pattern (Cade/Wise)
Coarse Muse bands used as training signals, not diagnostic biomarkers: โ Moderate beta (alert but calm) ยท
โ Strong alpha bridge (awareness) ยท
โ Present theta (creativity/insight) ยท

๐ Audio Neurofeedback
Real-time audio that trains your brain toward calm focus. Plays alongside Spotify.
How it works:
๐ Ambient: Rich harmonics as alpha bridge builds; dissonance fades monkey mind
๐ง Headphone audio: simple stereo tones for focus anchoring; not binaural beats or therapy
๐ฃ Voice: Gentle cues โ "alpha bridge is strong", "soften your gaze", "widen awareness"
๐งญ Adaptive Bilateral Protocol
Closed-loop left/right audio stimulation. EEG state โ controller โ bilateral pulses โ EEG state. The objective is stable relaxed attention, not therapy or trauma processing.
Pulse Tempo
โ
Intensity
โ
Duty Cycle
โ
Overload
โ
Idle. Use Muse EEG, or tap Simulate EEG to dogfood the controller without hardware.
Controller rule:
overload slows and softens pulses; stable attention holds or gently explores tempo; drift raises salience without pushing intensity. Headphones recommended.
๐ฏ Flow Entry Protocol
Muse-only closed-loop calm-focus dogfood: eyes-open baseline โ settling โ adaptive bilateral audio โ Work Transition. This is not therapy, not trauma processing, and not an EMDR replacement.
Safety: stop for panic, dizziness, nausea, derealization, pronounced agitation, intrusive memories, emotional flooding, headache, insomnia, or weird visual effects. Ordinary stress and focus training only; no PTSD, trauma, crisis, driving, or safety-critical use.
Research-derived rules: simple alternating stereo, not binaural beats; relative alpha is the primary target, beta/alpha is the overactivation guard, theta drift is the sleepiness guard, and the artifact gate pauses adaptation when Muse signal quality is suspect.
